Life Lately

Well hello there, how do you do on this Friday afternoon? I hope you find yourself well. If not, plenty of hugs and positive energy being sent your way. It's been a crazy few months and if you follow my personal Instagram, you may know my husband Adam and I have been working hard on our home and especially my office room. That will be shown in my next post and I'm quite excited to share. Don't worry I plan to have that post up by next week. I'm trying to jump back in to blogging again as I have a bit more time now and honestly I missed it.

Last month, I celebrated my 29th birthday on September 26th. I didn't have any real plans but woke up wanting to go to IKEA. If you know me you know I love IKEA and this time around I bought a few pieces for my office and home. It's cool, you get a free meal for your birthday so I had to take advantage of that offer. Later in the evening, Adam and I decided to go to Sol Food to eat more because food is life. Once we got home Adam surprised me with a birthday card, a cupcake, and a Popsicle mold set. It's the little things that count and I loved the gesture. He warms my cold heart.

A few days later, my brother Kevin and I decided to have a joint birthday celebration. It was a hot pot style dinner surrounded with family so you know it was great and magically delicious. I can't believe how much older everyone is becoming. Like time, please slow down for a minute.

Hehe, my candles are behind Kevin's. I mean to be 23 again, right?

It's been a busy season in regards to photography and I am incredibly grateful. Just last week I shot at the pumpkin patches 5 out of 7 days. With that said, I have been doing my best to stay afloat and not drown in all my editing because this time of the year is absolutely amazing and overwhelming all at the same time. Also, I need to create for myself much more than I have been. My creative juices have been feeling neglected.

Recently Adam and I have gotten into the Netflix series, Ozark. It's pretty crazy, dramatic, and entertaining to watch. If you don't know what it's about, check out the trailer here but basically it has to do with money laundering, a ton of drama between a family and the cartel, and so much more craziness. Also I just finished the Netflix show The Haunting of Hill House with my brother and oh my god, AMAZING. If you're into horror, thriller, well written story telling, and suspense then check this out! I have goosebumps thinking about it. I will be rewatching it with Adam soon. What are some good shows you have seen lately? Do share please.

I think I have been fighting getting sick for the past month or so. When I wake up, the right side of my ear running down to the right side of my throat itches. That and the roof of the right side of my mouth. It has been like this for the past two weeks. I think it's my sinuses but it's been a bother. Any remedies? I should probably get it checked eventually. I definitely need to take much better care of my self. The feeling of waking up exhausted is tiring so I need to make some changes, for one not going to bed as often as I do at 3AM / 4AM.

Other than that, I need to learn to take more breaks, create for myself, and enjoy more family time. However, I am looking forward to the holidays so I can spend it with family and friends. I need it desperately. That and a boba drink. (which I have a gift card to T4 so you know I'm going to be using it soon. Thanks Jenni!)

I know my post was probably a bit messy but that's about the gist of what has been happening. Anyways I wanted to end today's post with some cuteness. This is my god daughter Aria for those of you who don't know. She's the light of my life and I melt every time I see her sassy little face. I want to squish her cheeks, so cute. Have a great rest of your week everyone. I wish you all the best! You got this!

XOXO
Anny
