My Office Room Transformation
Saturday, December 22, 2018
WOW my office room transformation is finally up. I'm not kidding when I tell you this season has been one of my busiest yet. Still, I know not an excuse to not keep up with my blog but I hate half assing (Is this even a verb? It is now!) a post just because I want to create content. My office is not finished by any means and I'm sure it will never be because if you know me I am so damn picky when it comes to how I decorate. In the mean time, enjoy the process of my cousin Dung and husband Adam ripping apart my room and making it such a lovely space for me to create and edit in to dead of night. I am SO grateful.
The first step was to empty out the room as much as we could and prepare it for our new flooring. We definitely needed a change so out with the old and in with the new. |
Creamy Potato Soup Recipe
Sunday, November 4, 2018
Lately I have been craving potato soup and I asked Adam if he wanted it and surely enough, he did. He hasn't been getting enough sleep and was feeling under the weather so I thought something filling and warm would help. Not only is potato soup super easy to make but it is comforting, rich, flavorful, and creamy. I wanted to provide both an instant pot version (one that I loosely follow) as well as one where you can make right on your stove top. By the way, I'm an instant pot lover if you couldn't tell. I bought mine from Amazon if you were interested in purchasing one as well. You're welcome.
Happy Birthday To My Dearest Brother
Tuesday, September 18, 2018
First of all I wanted to wish my brother Kevin the sweetest 23rd birthday ever. It's a pleasure to watch you grow, working hard, living life, and still be the weird sibling that you are. You never miss the chance to scare the living soul out of me. I hate you for that yet I love you just as much. It's crazy when we complete each other's sentences or will give each other "the look" when we are thinking the same damn thing. You truly are my brother and have grown to be a great friend. We may argue at times but it's all out of love and stubbornness. No matter what, I will always have your back.
My Favorite Places To Shop Online
Tuesday, July 31, 2018
Surprise (kind of) blog post! Today I wanted to share where I find all my online fashion finds, home decor, and every day essentials. I have been trying to not shop as much but when I want to treat myself or just have to, these are a few of the stores I have been digging. Hope you find some new shops to check out.

You may have heard about this craze by now but if you haven't, keep reading because I'll go over all the details of what it is, the cost, the pain, the healing process, and all I have learned from my experiences on perfecting the brows.

Life and House Update!
Friday, July 6, 2018
Hello!
It's been about a month since my last post but this is what I have been up to. If you follow my Instagram, you would know Adam and I have been doing a TON of work around our house. We repainted our living room, fireplace, the kitchen (sans the cabinets which will probably be painted in the near future), and pulling out weeds from our yard. Phew, a lot of work. Plus, we have been anxiously wanting to invite family and friends over for all kinds of homemade food and just to hang out so our house definitely needed some TLC. It's been quite a journey and it's still going but surely enough, our house is becoming more of a home.
Here's a little back story, Adam's been living in his house for many years but I only just moved in last August 2017. We haven't been able to do much around the house during that time because we were dealing with some type of mite issue. We practically lived in our bedroom and felt discouraged a lot of the time. Adam did all he could to remedy the problem but didn't have much luck. It was not fun but once we were able to get a new furnace, the bugs seemed to have died out from the heat. Crossing our fingers it stays that way because even after cleaning the house, they would come back with a vengeance. This is our progress so far and I'll be updating more throughout the weeks.
The Museum of Ice Cream
Monday, May 14, 2018
Hello sweethearts, ready for a tasty treat? Yeah, me too. I'm actually not huge on sweets but my tooth has become a little sweeter as I have gotten older. It's kind of weird how our cravings change as we age. Are you like that too?? Honestly, I need to lay off the sweets! Anyways, if you liked my Color Factory post then this one's for you. Here's a little recap of our time at the Museum of Ice Cream (which, by the way they have tickets on sale now if you are going to San Francisco location. Get them while you can because they sell out like crazy!)

Firmoo Glasses Review
Saturday, April 28, 2018
For today's post, I wanted to talk about my favorite online store to purchase affordable and stylish prescription as well as non prescription glasses. If you guys don't know, I'm not blessed with perfect vision as I need glasses to drive, to read, and to work on my computer. I'm jealous of those of you who can see well. Ahem, my husband Adam but on the plus side, I think glasses can look cute and who says the costs needs to break the bank!? I was in need of a new pair of glasses so I searched the web and stumbled upon Firmoo. At first I was hesitant to purchase glasses from an online store but I read a lot of reviews and decided to give Firmoo a try. I'm sooooo glad I did because my experience has been nothing but wonderful. You guys can give them a try too and sign up for free http://www.firmoo.com/ 😊 and use my code for 50% off your purchase: Anny0625314
The Color Factory
Thursday, April 19, 2018
Hiya! I asked over on my Instagram if you guys wanted my next post to be about what my favorite Makeup products were or a recap of my experience at The Color Factory. You guys voted and you wanted to know more about the Colors! If you don't know what The Color Factory is, here's a link to read all about it but the gist of it is that it's a colorful and interactive art exhibit. It's a neat place to get some colorful photos as well as hang out with your family and or friends. Lo and behold they also have a few treats here and there so yay, that was super unexpected!
