My Home Office Tour

My home office tour is finally here! It's been a long time coming and I have been meaning to post this but knowing my self, I don't like posting when I'm not finished with a project. Honestly, I feel like I'm never going to be fully done since I'm going to be moving things around but for the most part, it's done. When I think about it, it's fun to see the process so that is why I felt the need to share. If you would like to check out what my room looked like before, check out my previous blog post: My Office Room Transformation

My Favorite Editing Apps

Hi all,

One of the questions I get asked often is not only how I edit my photos but what programs / apps I like to use to make my Instagram stories and photos more appealing. If a photo is taken with my DSLR I import them into Lightroom to do some culling. I can take a million photos but maybe only like 5 of them. I edit using my own presets and then I will open up my photos into Photoshop to do more detailed editing such as skin retouching, removing of flyaway hairs,  and use my own photoshop actions (which is pretty much presets) etc., to top off the finishing touches. Otherwise, a lot of my photos on my instagram feed is edited using certain apps to keep my feed looking consistent.

How to Shop More Sustainable and Ethical Fashion

Top is from Everlane and Joggers are from Mate The Label. (And yes I know my mirror is dirty.)

In celebration of Earth day, I wanted to talk about how I shop more sustainable and ethically made clothing. Last year I watched a documentary called "The True Cost" and it showcased how fast fashion industries have been depleting the earth's resources and have used slave labor to cut costs on the end consumer. If you haven't watched it, I highly recommend checking it out because it has opened my eyes and has inspired my way of living. Since the beginning of 2019, I have made a conscious effort to try and shop more slow fashion, which is the process and resources required to make sustainable and ethically made clothing. I wanted to do my part and help out the planet by being more mindful of where I am shopping and not to impulse buy.
